🚗 Step 1: Check if your car supports Android Auto
Before you can connect:
- In the infotainment system, check if Android Auto is supported (often under Settings > Connected Devices).
- Does your car have an appropriate screen and software version?
- Your Android phone must be running at least Android 8.0 (Oreo) (newer versions such as Android 10+ work smoothest).

🔌 Step 2: Download (if necessary) the Android Auto app
Android versions below 10 may require you to manually download the app:
- Go to the Google Play Store
- Search on "Android Auto"
- Download and install the official app from Google
On devices with Android 10 or higher, Android Auto is integrated by default.
📱 Step 3: Connect your phone to your car
Option 1: Wired Android Auto
- Use a good quality USB cable (preferably original).
- Plug your phone into your car's USB port.
- A message appears automatically: "Start Android Auto?" → Click on Allow.
Option 2: Wireless Android Auto (if supported)
- Activate Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone.
- Pair your phone with your car's system via Bluetooth.
- Follow the instructions to wirelessly activate Android Auto.
Not all cars support wireless connectivity; it depends on the system and the year of manufacture of your car.
